For this collection, Wilma drew inspiration from the soul of Delftware: the brushstroke. The imperfections, the tonal shift from pale blue to deep midnight blue, and the fluid lines together form a graphic interplay reminiscent of hand-painted ceramics. Fragments of birds, flowers, and butterflies are mirrored and repeated into modern, almost abstract patterns. In addition to the iconic Delft blue, the collection also features beautiful shades of chrome green and ochre yellow — a nod to traditional polychrome pottery.

The Delft Garden is more than just a series of products: it is a sensory experience where texture, color, and pattern merge seamlessly. Carpet tiles, area rugs, and wallpaper speak the same visual language, creating a coherent and atmospheric whole. Each design stands strong on its own, yet also harmonizes beautifully when combined with other elements from the collection.

The patterns are modular in nature and invite creative application. They can be mirrored, repeated, or composed into a unique layout. For those who prefer ready-made options, a variety of layout templates are available and easy to use or adapt. The carpet tiles are practical in use: easy to install, and individual tiles can be replaced in the event of staining or damage.

With The Delft Garden, STUDIO PLAISIER introduces a collection that blends artisanal refinement with design freedom and practical usability. An open invitation to interior designers, architects, and creative professionals to reimagine floor and wall design in a new and inspiring way.
